Hi! I’m Dr Julie! I am a GP with a specialist interest in women’s health, mental health and health equity, author and health columnist for the voice newspaper. I have written a book on postpartum recovery called “The Fourth Trimester: The Best Friend’s Guide To Your Postpartum Body and Mind”, which is scheduled for release on the 19th November and is available for preorders now on Amazon. I am also the founder of @mamar_app a digital health platform which I am creating to help support families from preconception through to the first 5 years of their child’s life. I would love to discuss collaborations with anyone else working in this field!

I run What Are Friends For, where I interview people who aren’t necessarily in the social-media spotlight but are successful in their own fields, from childcare and writing to creative careers and grant-funded projects. The idea is to show that success looks different for everyone and that different paths can still lead somewhere meaningful. Alongside that, I’m also developing my own ready-to-drink cocktail brand. @whatarefriendsfour @whatarefriendsfour
