I’m Emma. I’m a counsellor / psychotherapist that specialises in working with adults overcoming the effects of trauma from their childhoods and in their adult lives. I’m passionate about self care and take a holistic approach to working with clients to look at how they think, feel and behave while navigating this thing called LIFE! I work online, so location/commuting isn’t an issue. I also have expertise in Operations and Quality Management and can support in reviewing organisational or departmental processes to look at how best to use your peoples’ resources while honing a cohesive safe environment to work in. I’m also a public speaker on all things mental health and self care. I run workshops and retreats; and give great, engaging presentations to groups - large or small. Above all else, if you feel you need a therapist that’s straight-talking and down to earth… get in touch! Or if you just want to form a professional network that meets up once in a while for support… I’m up for that too!

I run What Are Friends For, where I interview people who aren’t necessarily in the social-media spotlight but are successful in their own fields, from childcare and writing to creative careers and grant-funded projects. The idea is to show that success looks different for everyone and that different paths can still lead somewhere meaningful. Alongside that, I’m also developing my own ready-to-drink cocktail brand. @whatarefriendsfour @whatarefriendsfour
