I’m Lydia, a dancer, social media content creator/manager. I showcase real life with T1D to help break the stigma and share the message that life with T1D isn’t limiting. I’ve worked with brands including BBC 1XTRA, PopSugar, British Red Cross and more to share that message. @sweet.ones.official is a community I created for people with diabetes to connect, feel understood and know they’re not alone. 🫶🏽 And now I’m taking it a step further… I’ve spent the last few months creating my own app, designed to make carb counting easier when eating out, particularly for African & Caribbean cuisines. @getcarbii It’s called Carbii and I’ll be launching it this year! 🤍
