Hey everyone! 👋🏾 I’m Michelle Escoffery - I’m a music creator, creative strategist, cultural leader, founder and consultant with 30+ years’ experience across the music and creative industries. My work sits at the intersection of creativity, strategy, leadership and impact. I’m an award-winning songwriter and vocal producer, but alongside my creative work I advise organisations, develop talent, shape programmes and partnerships, chair boards (@ivorsacademytrust & Newcastle Gateshead Music City) and help turn ambitious ideas into strategies that actually work. I’m also the Founder & Curator of Kindred Collective @kindrd.collective a live music platform championing exceptional artists and musicianship, and the Founder of PAUSE, @pause.wellnessretreats creating intentional spaces, experiences and retreats centred around rest, wellbeing, connection and personal transformation. My sweet spots are music and creative industries strategy, governance and leadership, talent development, mentoring, programme design, partnerships, cultural strategy, curation and creative consultancy. I’m particularly interested in work that creates meaningful opportunities for people, strengthens the creative ecosystem and brings the right people around the table to make things happen.
