What a great idea ππΎ Iβm Alicia π€ β a registered midwife specialising in supporting families affected by pregnancy and baby loss. I also work as a midwifery expert across film, TV and marketing, so if a brand, producer or director needs midwifery expertise or consultancy, Iβm your woman π As a former paediatric nurse, I also have a special interest in infant health. Iβm the founder of @blackbabylossawareness, and we partnered with @awarenesstapstories on @bblabeyondthestatistics β a film exploring the baby loss experiences of Black mothers. We also run an annual conference focused on improving care for Black and Asian families affected by baby loss, deliver workshops and keynotes across the country, host an annual webinar for healthcare professionals, and coordinate Black Baby Loss Awareness Week. π€ So excited to connect with everyone here! ππΎ

I run What Are Friends For, where I interview people who arenβt necessarily in the social-media spotlight but are successful in their own fields, from childcare and writing to creative careers and grant-funded projects. The idea is to show that success looks different for everyone and that different paths can still lead somewhere meaningful. Alongside that, Iβm also developing my own ready-to-drink cocktail brand. @whatarefriendsfour @whatarefriendsfour
