Hey! NIASHA here, born in Zimbabwe and based in Melbourne, Australia. I’m a musician (singer -songwriter) who blends soul, hip-hop with southern African sounds. I direct all of visuals and would love to do this for other artists as well. I also work with children and families by running interactive playgroups and recently finished round 1 of @theblacklullabyexperience with a midwife which was a lullaby making experience for African and Caribbean babies and their parents/caregivers.

I run What Are Friends For, where I interview people who aren’t necessarily in the social-media spotlight but are successful in their own fields, from childcare and writing to creative careers and grant-funded projects. The idea is to show that success looks different for everyone and that different paths can still lead somewhere meaningful.
