Hi guys, Annalisa here, I’m an educator have been in the industry for 10+ years now I’ve worked as a nanny, babysitter, newborn night nurse and work in schools. My biggest passion is child development and teaching. I believe in fostering a child’s ability to learn through play and experience and would hope to one day bring about huge transformations to the national curriculum. I’d love help with one day bringing about my own holistic childcare space that would nurture children in a way other nurseries or childcare spaces do not, through music, play, food and joy.

I run What Are Friends For, where I interview people who aren’t necessarily in the social-media spotlight but are successful in their own fields, from childcare and writing to creative careers and grant-funded projects. The idea is to show that success looks different for everyone and that different paths can still lead somewhere meaningful.
