Hello and welcome to @shansbeautyroom_ Let me introduce myself I’m Shan, proud mum of two, full-time SEN Teaching assistant by day, beautician and wax-enthusiast by night (and sometimes weekends… and occasionally whenever someone messages me in a mild panic about their emergency holiday wax). I opened Shan’s Beauty Room back in July 2023 after realising two things: I love helping people feel confident and smooth, and I’m weirdly passionate about waxing like, genuinely excited about perfect results. If you know, you know. As a fellow waxer myself, I fully understand the emotional journey of hair removal: From “I’ll be brave this time” → “Why did I grow this much hair?” → “Okay wow, this looks amazing.” And I’m here to make that journey as comfortable (and as entertaining) as possible. My working hours are listed on my Instagram page, but because life is chaotic (trust me, with being a parent I get it), I also accept out-of-hours appointments for an additional £10.
