People on aMission

Your network is your net worth

Inspired by a video made by Krept about networking

›

Why I built this

He asked thousands of strangers to introduce themselves in one comment section. Thousands of them did.

They wrote out their skills, their businesses, what they’re building, in their own words, to nobody in particular.

I was genuinely inspired going through them. A whole network of people on missions, all reaching for each other, buried in a comment section where nobody can actually connect.

So I made a directory. Their own words, searchable, each card linking back to their Instagram. A better way for them to find each other.

8,124 comments read. 7,489 of them were somebody introducing what they do. The rest were shout-outs and praise.

The directory

Straight to your inbox

New people, new missions, and anything worth passing on. Occasional, not spam.

“This is what the internet should be for.”

Hey everyone 👋🏾 Good to see so many familiar faces in here! Thank you Krept, for creating this space to connect and see what can grow from it. I’m FFG too. I remember Krept giving the first FFG Let’s Connect keynote. Met some amazing people that day. This feels like another chance to make those kinds of connections. I’m a Lecturer at London College of Fashion. I teach creative direction and cultural communication. Basically I help turn ideas and cultural research into storytelling and experiences making sure the culture behind them is represented with care. I also work across mentoring and creative consultancy. Most of my mentoring happens through programmes like Gucci Changemakers and the Stephen Lawrence Day Foundation. Love to connect with people doing thoughtful work especially across the continent and the diaspora. Feel free DM or tag me. Always happy to connect!

Howdy I'm Tristian I'm a former police officer with accolades for BRAVERY turned SPEAKER. I do talks in schools sharing my story, to inspire and empower young people to be the reason doors open. I specialise in STOP & SEARCH workshops to educate young people about the process and answer questions done in my down to earth/REEEALL way. Hopefully they are not stopped but they understand the process IF they are and if needs be how to make a complaint. I also encourage people to be more involved in the community and I'm a member of a few scrutiny panels and community panels with the police. Please do have a look on my profile 🚪🧡

Hi, I’m Diane. I’m excited to share that I’ve written my first book, Breaking Silence, which is currently being professionally formatted ahead of publication. The book encourages men to find their voice, embrace emotional strength, and break free from the silence that often surrounds mental and emotional wellbeing. Alongside this, I’m a qualified Assessor, Life Coach, and Trainer with a passion for empowering people to reach their full potential. I’m currently developing a 12-week personal development and life skills programme for young people aged 13 and above, designed to prepare them for the future. My vision is to deliver this programme in schools, youth organisations, and community settings, while also running my own workshops that create safe, inspiring spaces for growth and positive change. I’m keen to connect with schools, educators, youth organisations, charities, businesses, and community leaders who share a passion for investing in the next generation.
